"Design is such a democratic force for the good when harnessed well, so it is gratifying to see how it has been embraced by South Africa. GUILD gives an insight into where that force and energy can take us next. It is a little slice of time travel into the future."
- Helen Chislett

London Connoisseur aims to connect superb artisanship with those continually seeking extraordinary and exceptional star pieces. Founded by esteemed design journalist and author Helen Chilsett, the high standard of curation is a direct result of her own black book of highly respected makers.

For GUILD, the gallery will present the trailblazing ‘Can City’ from Studio Swine, and works by Museum of Contemporary African Art (MOCCA) architect Thomas Heatherwick and David Adjaye OBE, pioneering light artist Chris Levine and Sophie Coryndon.

Ryan Mc Elhinney is also represented, with his ‘Toy Boy’ series showing young male figures, whose poignant expressions and poses silently tell tales of forced abandoned innocence at war.
